Xaverian and Catholic Identity Project (2015-2016)

  • Saint John's Preparatory School (Danvers, MA)
  • Analyze the findings of the SJP Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Schools Mission Effectiveness Report
  • Develop interview protocol and conduct focus groups of faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni, and trustees
  • Create executive summary of major themes including suggested action items for administration and faculty


The Boston College Roundtable Project/Integritas Publication 2-Year Review (2015) 

  • Boston College, University Mission and Ministry & Lynch Graduate School of Education
  • Assisted in review of Roundtable Project focused on faculty engagement in the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, including research design (Qualtrics survey and interview protocol), IRB process, participant interviews, analysis, executive summary, and practical guide to inform mission officers and other leaders at Catholic colleges and universities with the goal of facilitating similar campus-based scholarly seminars

BOSTON COLLEGE INSTITUTE FOR ADMINISTRATORS IN CATHOLIC HIGHER EDUCATION 15-YEAR REVIEW (2014-2015)

  • Boston College, Lynch School of Education, Department of Educational Leadership & Higher Education
  • Assisted Dr. Michael James in his research which focuses on the intersection of faith and intellectual life, Catholic mission and identity, and best practices for student affairs at Catholic colleges and universities
  • Managed 15-Year Review of ACCU/Boston College Institute for Administrators in Catholic Higher Education (IACHE), including research design (Qualtrics survey and interview protocol), IRB process, participant interviews, analysis, and executive summary

Big Picture Longitudinal Study (2012-2015)

  • Boston College, Lynch School of Education, Department of Educational Leadership & Higher Education
  • Assisted Dr. Karen Arnold in her research which focuses on college access for traditionally underrepresented and underserved populations
  • Investigated faith-based communities and their unique position to help students enter and succeed in college
  • Conducted semi-structured interviews and provided qualitative analysis as a member of the research team

Boston College Mission & Ministry Assessment Committee - NEASC Accreditation/48HOURS (2012-2015)

  • Boston College, University Mission & Ministry
  • Created student learning outcomes for division programs (retreats, domestic/international service and immersion programs, and faith-sharing communities) consistent with division-wide student learning outcomes
  • Assessed student learning outcomes of the 48HOURS retreat using a mixed methods approach
  • Developed focus group interview protocol based upon program and division student learning outcomes
  • Designed and facilitated focus groups with 48HOURS retreat leaders and participants
  • Collaborated with the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, & Assessment to mine program data
  • Compared quantitative data (participant vs. non-participant) utilizing the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the College Senior Survey (CSS)
  • Implemented programmatic changes and revised student learning outcomes as a result of program assessment
