Mission & Ministry Program Consultant
Danny has been a mission and ministry program consultant for the past five years, with clients such as Baylor University and Boston College. He has consulted religious retreats, academic course-based retreats, first-year retreats, service and learning programs, and faith-based conversation groups. Danny has also assessed mission-enhancing professional development programs such as the Institute for Administrators in Catholic Higher Education (executive-level administrators), The Boston College Roundtable Project/Integritas Publication (faculty), and Collegium: A Colloquy on Faith and Intellectual Life (faculty).

Youth Spirituality and sports institute: Running the Race Well
- Baylor University, George W. Truett Theological Seminary ($600,000 Lilly Endowment Grant)
- Yearlong exploration of spiritual and moral leadership, vocation and theology for junior and senior high school students, forming teenagers to become discerning, vibrant leaders in sports, church, and beyond
- Refine design of 8-day summer retreat and 4-day leadership training retreat for mentors, interns, and partners

- Created student learning outcomes for division programs (retreats, domestic/international service and immersion programs, and faith-sharing communities) consistent with division-wide student learning outcomes
- Assessed student learning outcomes of the 48HOURS retreat using a mixed methods approach
- Developed focus group interview protocol based upon program and division student learning outcomes
- Designed and facilitated focus groups with 48HOURS retreat leaders and participants
- Collaborated with the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, & Assessment to mine program data
- Compared quantitative data (participant vs. non-participant) utilizing the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the College Senior Survey (CSS)
- Implemented programmatic changes and revised student learning outcomes as a result of program assessment
